What defines a Best Friend?
I'm not talking about the guy who is always there to help you toss back a couple
of beers, or the one who is around for only the good times as long as you can provide them. I am referring to the friend that sees you through every low moment, the one who is there just to hear you
talk about nothing. The one who tells you things like they are, and not what you want to hear.
Friends will come and go, many pass through ones life like sand passes through an
hour glass. To my buddy and pal who has helped me out through many times when
I felt alone, Thank you for being there for me unconditionally. Even when the people who I have done everything for
had abandoned me, it was you who lent me your shoulder for me to lean on. We share
alot... Funny times, hobbies, even just relaxing, I can honestly say I have never felt so myself. You made
me realize that I was never the one wrong in my thinkings nor in my decisions I have made, no matter what people have tried
to tell me. Instead it was those who I surrounded myself with that were the selfish ones, the cowards, always around
for the good times. Then blaming me and my situation for them abandoning me during the bad times.
We'll pal we start our journey late in life, but we start it together. You are
experiencing just like I am for the first time things that are new and quite different. My life in the past year has
changed so much, I truley feel for the better, and I am thankful that just as you have been there for me during my sad
times now we can experience the good times together.
